Good thing you got out of there when you did, sounds like! Also it sounds pretty typical about the rich side of the creek.

We would have stayed dry, but there would have been no leaving the apartment for about two days if we hadn't gone when we did. Yeah, I wouldn't wish flooding on anyone but there was a little schadenfreude about the whole situation.

Sounds like EPA got lucky! San Francisquito sounds like a cross between San Francisco and mosquito, ha!

I always thought of the creek name as little San Francisco, but I don't know where it comes from.

So much, yes. Last time I went through there the Palo Alto side still mostly had beautiful wood fencing so I guess they're hoping something else got fixed.

I agree. We were fine, though a few of our neighbors had to replace cars after they went sailing down the road.
