Within five minutes after staking my claim in the spn_j2_bigbang I got a message from the author and I got even more excited about the fic I had been able to grab! YOU POSTED! YAY! And you made SUCH amazing art! I was lucky enough to read the fic early on and let me just say, you NAILED IT! All the whimsical detail, the optical illusion (and thank you for making the animation because I couldn’t see it with my one lazy eye darn) and those wonderful pictures from Amberdreams photo ops! I feel like I’ve died and gone to J2 Heaven tonight. Bless you and all you do, but this really made my night ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yeah, I figured not everyone might be able to see the optical illusion. It was also fun to further explore the animation technique, even though I was cursing myself for picking that particular portal effect when I was cutting all those curvy bits;)

Antlers! Bat-wings! Psychedelic swirls! Surprise!Jeff! You are amazing, lady, you really are. You whip out your x-acto blades and work literal magic, Every. Single. Time. I cannot even comprehend how you cut all those swirls, but WOW. Plus animation, too? Seriously, what CAN’T you do?

Love all of this, but I am absolutely smitten by Jared’s antlers. Stunning work all around. YOU RULE!

Oh you, stop it. I think I finally met my match when I decided on that ridiculous swirl effect; I am forever fearful of curvy cuts now;-p

The antlers came to life when I started creasing the paper, that was very cool to do, I may want to explore those effects a little further next time...
