I talked to the artist Saturday who will be doing the Smashwords edition of my cover for Cemetery Moon. I'm very excited about the prospect of working with him because I've seen the amazing compositions he can do. Um I am excited for you but are you sure you should epublish first? most publishing companies like to have first publication rights.

Not necessarily. After having researched ebook publishing and after having spoken with several professional writers, I'm convinced at this point and for someone like me, this is a good plan. Publishers and agencies won't automatically reject a manuscript simply because it's been self-published and many allow their authors exclusive digital rights of ownership. I'm going to continue to market the books to agents and traditional publishers, but I've faced facts and know my chances of even having one consider my query is less than 1%. Epublishing will make the books accessible to millions of readers worldwide and it's pretty much free to digitally publish. You should consider it too.
