well, since youve got to give something to be able to expect any kind of return (sow and reap), here's been my life since last I updated. I've been pretty stressed out lately. Basically, I got freaked out about school and forgot that I dont have to do that, that I'll be alright whatever my grades are. But not just that. I can get good grades, I ( Read more... )

thank you, but I'm not getting on a low self esteem trip or anything, and although I agree you should not focus on your weaknesses, recognizing them is the first step in seeing Christ's strength in us, His power and blessing in spite of our inadequecy. That's what I mean.

John is of the missingness of his good friend crawford!!!

Anywho, good to hear ur still getting beat over the head by the creator's hand! (my biggest fear is that I'll screw up sooooo many times I won't feel that loving thump on the head I get when I mess up) And by the way "My Utmost for His Highest" = greatest book ever written by a man! (had to write that "by a man" part cause it's about the bible and it would not be right to say a book about a THE book is better than it's topic... if that makes sense)
SO THERE! THAT'S MY STORY AND I'M STICKIN' TO IT!
WHAT NOW LITTLE MAN, WHAT NOW!?!

Hey, Nate, it's good to hear you're alive and well!

"I feel so completely out of control. That should be the scarriest thing in the world, but it is actually the most comforting knowlege." Amen to the Nth degree. I don't remember where I heard this, but this quote jives pretty much exactly with what you're saying. "When our security is derived from our own ability, no matter how great that ability is, our misery is assured." Life's interesting like that, isn't it?

So I'm guessing you would reccommend "My Utmost for His Highest?" I've heard about it, but up until now (upon the completion of our Atlas Shrugged test), I've been short on spare time. Sounds interesting though... I'll have to check it out.

i would definitely recommend "My Utmost for His Highest". It has to be the best collective book of thoughts by one man that I have ever read, and the best part, it's all based in scripture and spiritual revelation. It's off the heezy fo sheezy.
