I swear, we must be in the "young, defenseless girls get raped" unit in English class. Rape is so disgusting and cruel. Everytime I hear a story about someone getting raped it is so terrifying. I think that's just about the worst thing that I could imagine ever happening to me. It could be a complete stranger that catches sight of you in the dairy

i've heard playing dead freaks rapists out, and they scurry away screaming. some of them.

in general, carry pepper spray and you'll be fine.
(i have the advantage, of course, of appearing like a boy. but i'd kick any pervert's ass, for anyone else.)
