[Post starts off in Vladimir's somewhat messy handwriting. Around the middle there are a few marks of a pen being tapped and set down, and by the end it has changed to Angel's handwriting after she convinces him to let her do the writing too.]I heard a rule once. Never trust the witnesses of a blind man. There was no addendum to clarify what ( Read more... )

I think the marketplace is the best place for that once you're settled.

That's what I thought. Though everyone I talk to seems to be pushing tea.

Well, tell them no if you don't like it!

Ha...! I suppose I'd have to try it. All I can think of when you mention tea, though, is bland, watery leaf juice.

I've craving something a bit bolder.

Vladimir, perhaps someone could help you to Medical Island? If you were born blind, there may not be anything we can do, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

That's actually a good idea. I don't particularly remember being blind... but then again, the small details get lost when your coloring book's been splattered with paint.

That's a very evocative description of the situation.

Hi there, Vladimir! Welcome!

I'm Kitty, and I run the Edensphere Birthday Brigade. If you'd like, I could make you a coffee cake and brew a fresh pot for you, to celebrate!

Now here's a lady speaking my language. That would be great.

Okay. I'll start whipping one up and I'll head down with the essentials early tonight!

Good luck fighting all the tea-drinkers, by the way: Tea talks quite extensively here, ha ha ha! I tried coffee all of once, and I ended up drowning it in cream. I guess it's a more adult taste to handle the boldness, huh?

Hey now, what's the point in drinking a cup of coffee if you're going to smother out the flavor with something else?

They probably just haven't had good coffee. I don't know why, but I'm craving it like a wolf craves to howl at the moon.

Hello and welcome, Vladimir. I am Will.

As Kazahana told you, we'd be happy to assist you on Medical Island; I work there as well.

Pleased to meet you.

I'll probably convince somebody to take me by later. I think I was born with the flu.

You, as well.

Oh, dear; if you would like, we can send a medic or two to help you in coming here, unless you have someone there with you who can bring you.

Thank you, but my "brother" can probably manage it. I don't want to sit here in the barracks forever just because I can't see.

Hey there, Vladmir! My name's Cara. Like the others have said, you can probably find some coffee in the marketplace.
