Why is it that few mechanics actually call you back when they tell you they will? So far the motorcycle mechanic has said he will call me Tuesday, then Wednesday and then Thursday morning at the latest. Yeah, I called them to see if there is at least an estimate. I was told they haven't really gotten to it yet and that they will know next week... "

Motorcycle? Should I be scared? I have given up the internal combustion engine and ride a bike everywhere. Some fun I tell you, but today was a long day so my legs feel kinda like jelly.

No need to be scared. I got my license a few years ago and I don't ride a crotch rocket :) just a nice cruiser that couldn't reach dangerous speeds even if it wanted to. Although I have to say that I have been using my newly purchased bike on the warmer days to run errands aroun town. I've tried to use my car less and less around here.
