He also toured the world in order to proclaim that he was Christ's incarnate -- that movie is good, huh? After watching it, I started to be more skeptical about all of Werner Herzog's stories, but I think I was just jealous that he has seen so much.

yeah, I mean I doubt all of that stuff was true, but they were good stories so I don't really care and am just going to assume that they are true.

The jesus tours were CRAZY. When you watched the doc, was all of the German subtitled? In the version I watched, Herzog's stuff was dubbed (by Herzog himself), as were the interviews, but none of the pieces from Kinski's films were subtitled or dubbed. I speak enough German that I got the gist of it (and obviously you can tell he's a great actor through the language barrier), but it seemed like a weird choice to me. But I watched it online so maybe there is a choice on the dvd to subtitle that stuff?
