There seems to be a malaise hanging over a lot of my friend group, actually all of my friend groups, in Grinnell and in Concord and everywhere else right now despite the fact that life at the moment is really pretty great in a lot of ways, and I think it's because we are either in the throes of a postgrad funk, or sense one looming on the horizon. My new favorite thing to do at parties is when one 30 rack is gone and there's another one to replace it, yelling THE KING IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE KING and jumping on the empty box until it's smushed.
