I totally surprised myself, and hit an avg 8:00 mile pace almost exactly. Chip time (they gave out chips this year that started your time when you crossed the start instead of the gun, which can be a matter of minutes or ten even) was 1:00:23. My splits were: 1 - 9:07 2 - 8:14 3 - 8:57 (hayes street hill) 4 - 8:10 5 - 7:49 6 through 7.5 end - 19.50 (never saw the mile markers for 6 & 7) which is an average of 7:48
The weather was awesome. I decided to skip footstock and walk with izzytart and our friends Larry & Mimi who came to watch the finish, and forgot to get my T-shirt. And I really like the design this year :P And I don't want to give up my bib - it lasts longer than a t-shirt.

The chip timing is awesome - they had the stats online in under 2 days. Plus, it's fully searchable & sortable. Kicks ass:
