Offices are generally designed using a particularly obscure and slightly mystical branch of Non-Euclidian physics. The create a bizarre kind of grivitic disturbance which creates and empathic dissonance in the minds of those that enter, which at first repels, then draws back the subject.

Popular theories now suggest that the only way to truly escape is either to wait until the brain hardens against these effects (Which in extreme cases can take up to fifty years) or to get caught up in a similar field in a less harmful (Or more harmful) environment. Such environments include the peculiar dissonance formed by fishing rods and riverbanks, golf clubs and fields, and alcohol and enclosed spaces.

I'm beginning to think that maybe schools have that effect too.....
