So the Adelaide Film Festival kicks off tonight, and we're seeing Death of a President. pretty excited for that, but more so for Svankmajer's Sílení on Sunday. youtube is having a scheduled down time, and i'm kind of having trouble dealing with it

i have killed 6 spiders inside my house in the past 24 hours. two have been white tips. the other four happened in the space of two minutes and they were all the same type of unidentifiable jumping spider. they looked like very large, fat ticks with eight legs. i am sure there are dozens more hiding out, waiting to squish or be squished ( Read more... )

i've discovered another thing to respect/admire/be awed by about australia: when your dog dies, you sit around crying for maybe half an hour, and then you go have a beer in honor of your dog.

i guess it's been a dang month since i updated my livejournal. we're in venice. i fucking love venice.
