I'm so glad you finally finished this series--I remember reading the preceding part and how it broke me up. I love how simple things are for them, now that they've worked things out, how good they are for each other, and this is what my pairing comes down to. Thank you for reminding me of that.
I also remember wanting Jim to fix things so badly, and I'm so, so glad he was the one who did. Telling Spock that he had to do something, irritated and sudden, fits him so well, and it fits with this. Guh, in short, thank you thank you thank you for this. What a wonderful ending to this story, and don't feel bad about excluding porn. It didn't need it at all.
<333333333 So I love this, and I actually loved that there was no porn! Not that I don't love your porn, but it felt like, with Pavel sacrificing some of the pure sex stuff he had with Jim, that this approach was really good and appropriate and GOD I love the title! All of your titles in this series have been so perfect, and the image of settle like snow is just really apt for the way they come together and it's calm and sweet and everything they need. <3

I can envision John Cho saying that SO PERFECTLY and especially biting his lip afterward! I love that he practiced, and told Chekov this, and that Chekov asked him to demonstrate, and that Hikaru was willing, wahh!

You have not failed at all-- I thought this was perfect. Kirk's frustration about not getting laid and telling Spock to help him fix this was hilarious and I was glad that he was doing something to fix things. He should! The bits with Hikaru practicing to ask Pavel out were achingly sweet and probably my favorite part. Especially the bit where Pavel wishes he could have heard all that nervousness before they'd gotten together. Sweet and wistful. And this: Hikaru gives him that look again, the one that says 'you are everything there is to be happy about,' and Pavel gets vertigo from just seeing it. was amazing. I love the vertigo description.
