IS IT TERRIBLE THAT I WANTED UTHER TO DIE SO ARTHUR COULD BE KING??!
Oh, man what an ep! SERIOUSLY, WHAT AN EPISODE. I was getting really pissed because Arthur and Merlin were getting no slashy Arthur/Merlin moments AND THEN...THEN THEY DID AND MERLIN KEPT USING THE PHRASE 'PULL OUT' OR 'PULL OUT OF IT' OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND MY BRAIN JUST WENT *guh*
And I giggled when Gaius and Merlin needed a torch and Merlin used his magic to light one and Gaius says "Mm. Handy." to which Merlin replies: "Yesh." And he did say it like that. Yesh.
THE BLACK KNIGHT WAS A CREEP. I mean, yeah, undead or whatever, but he didn't even attempt to blend in! He stood still in the courtyard all night. No cat naps, no nothing. DO YOU WANT TO MAKE PEOPLE SUSPICIOUS??
Uther redeemed himself at the end when he told Arthur how proud and blah blah he was and how much Arthur meant to him blah blah MAKE ARTHUR KING and it was really sweet, really AND WHY DIDN'T UTHER DIE and it really just made the episode that much better. :) (read: is Uther dead yet?)
And all the backstory and exposition was just great! I loved learning about Nimueh (sp?) and Uther and Uther's wife, Ingrane (sp? lol arthurian namez lol). But really, Uther, just die.
MERLIN DUMBASS WHY DID YOU LET UTHER TAKE EXCALIBURRRR? DUMBASS REALLY YOU STOOPID. YOU KNEW THE DRAGON WOULD PITCH A HISSY-FUCKING-FIT AND YET YOU MADE NO EFFORT.
OH, and how cute was Gwen? "You know I'd give you anything, Merlin...well, not anything. Obviously....O.o"
TWO WEEKS I MUST WAIT FOR MOREEE. AT LEAST I WILL GET TWO NEW EPS!! :D
