I have not updated in a few months, mostly due to life being busy and stressful and horrible and beautiful. I have many things to say which I ought to post about, but right now, I only have time for the one that is currently the foremost in my thoughts

:( I'm so sorry to hear about that. *hugs* I actually haven't read anything by her, but I did read that she wrote Howl's Moving Castle, which I've been meaning to watch for a long time.

If someone wanted to read something by her, what would you suggest?

She did, although the movie is almost completely different from the book.

Do you like books for young adults? If so, you could definitely start with Howl.

I rarely do YA books, but I have read a few (Harry Potter, Twilight, Speak). I may give it a shot, but it probably won't be for a bit with the other stuff I'm supposed to read already (I have a publisher/PR company asking me for reviews on a few books.

Her adult books are also quite good--Deep Secret is the first one that springs to mind. My all-time favorite of hers is Dogsbody.
