So the Marriage Amendment was passed. I literally screamed when I saw it on the TV. N. gave me a weird look--I'm not sure if she's ok with gay marriage or not because when I explained to her what it was, she asked me if I was upset because it didn't pass. Agreed! Gay people should be able to just as miserable as the rest of us married folks. (just kidding you know my hubby is my best friend).

I don't get it. Massachusetts was a commonwealth settled by fanatical Puritans, we have gay marriage, and we are still here.

Virginia was a commonwealth settled by people who didn't like or agree with the Puritans, and this is happening?
