I'll admit it. I'm a bit intimidated by this whole new journal thing. I have another journal elsewhere, you see. It's a comfortable old journal on the WeddingChannel, where I've been hanging out since the giddy days of my engagement. Hi Jolene!

It's Melissa aka WC's lowcountrywed and LJ's bundlebee. I started an LJ journal a little while ago, but I haven't been posting much. I'll try to "friend" you (I'm not even sure what that means, but I'll give it a try).

Hi! Wow, a new journal. The illusive blank page...:) Good luck as you begin the new journal. I wouldn't be opposed to leaving the good ol' WC to follow you here. My "newlywed" journal has kind of fallen by the wayside and seems a bit strange to have now that I, too, have been married over two years. Have a great evening!

Welcome, Heidi! I'm just so happy to actually have visitors. Hey, it'd be great if we could all switch over to LJ. After all, we need to make room for all the girls that actually need the WC for its intended purpose, right?! Anyway, thanks for stopping in. I'd love for you to come along on this new adventure.

Hi there. I'm starting a journal on here, too. I don't know if it will stay alive, but I'm blewbary here, too.

Lucky you that Lila is coming down this weekend. :) You sound very excited. I wish my best friend was back in the states. I'm getting a "care package" ready to send to her. I'm going to send her a party in a box. I got some confetti, streamers, and I'm going to get a CD of Salsa music (she loves that). I'm also sending her a card with a pic of Fares and I. I really wish I could be there to have fun with her, but I'm sure her room mates will get in on it.

Well, I'm off to explore this livejournal stuff some more to see if I can figure it out. It's a bit confusing at the moment.

Your care package sounds like so much fun! I imagine your friend will love it. It really is a bummer not having your best friend around, isn't it? When is she supposed to come back to the U.S.?

The learning curve around here does seem a bit steep, but I think I'm catching on. Good luck!
