Years ago- as in, before I got married- I asked my brother what kind of scarf he would like me to knit him. He wanted an orange scarf, but all Wal-Mart had at that time and that day that wouldn't itch like mad was Bernat Super Stripes in orange and black. It's a nice little self-striping yarn. Good luck with the auction! I need to knit more, too- I get really enthusiastic, complete a project or two, and then, for no apparent reason, I stop.

And yet I keep buying yarn. Must. Reduce. Yarn. Stash.

I was just typing up an answer as to what Rav is, but it seems you already found it!

Yeah, it is a completely awesome site. I haven't been on much lately- mostly because I haven't been knitting- but there is so much useful stuff there. The pattern and yarn databases, help on the forums... and the member-created groups can be fun, too. Looks like the Knotty Knitters have one! :)
