AT&T's Demise

What happened Saturday night with AT&T Wireless coverage? I know that since the last week we have been able to switch between the Cingular and AT&T networks, but last night marked hours of 'System Busy' problems.
If they had allowed the network roaming and this happened at the same time, I could attribute it to Cingular customers flooding AT&T ( Read more... )

Ugh. I wondered why my phone (and George's phone) weren't working last night--now I understand. I really REALLY hope that this doesn't become a regular occurrance, because I kind of needed to use my phone last night, and not being able to made sure that my plans got somewhat wrecked, because no one could get in touch with me.

I hope this gets sorted out soon. :/

i had all these problems and more shortly after signing up with pacbell when they were bought by cingular.

i switched to ATT and never had a prob but now the tables are turning ?

it just shows that all wireless carriers suck. . . it's just a matter of which one sucks the least at this moment *shrug*

as an fyi, the tdma network hasn't had any hiccups as far as i can tell (using ~600 7am-8pm minutes and ~1500 n/w min monthly)
