The Exercise
None today. I decided my legs might fall off if I went on the treadmill again. I'm very sore. As a trade-off, I decided to go to the grocery store to get some healthy snacks and lunch things. I'll also make up the work-out one day this weekend.
The Mental State
Food-wise: Today was a rather mediocre day. Lunch was kind of tough, because I was helping with training, so food was provided. It was Philly-style lunch day with build-your-own cheese steaks, Tastycakes, soft pretzels, etc. I started with only half of a cheese steak, but I was still hungry, so I went back for the other half. I guess that's not so bad, because I thought about it first. And I didn't think twice about the Tastycakes or pretzels. At Wawa, I bought a small side of mac and cheese to go with my sandwich, but I didn't eat it yet. Perhaps I never will. I ate the grapes first, and decided I wasn't still hungry. In fact, I still have half the grapes left, too.
Exercise-wise: I was very good at the grocery store, and I did walk around there for an hour or so. I got tons of fresh veggies and fruit that I can just grab out of the fridge and eat. And even though I know I'm paying more for it, I got things that were pre-washed and portioned, because right now, I really just need the healthy things to be convenient, easy, and fast. I also got some low-fat cheese sticks, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. I should be set for a while.
