The Mental State
Last diabetes class was today. It wasn't as good as the others, I don't think, but mostly because of the subject matter: medicine, which I am not on, and exercise, which I am already doing. It's ok, though. We had a test at the end, and I knew all the answers.
The Health Miles program is running a promotion where you get a bonus 100 miles each day of the World Series that you walk over 10,000 steps. I had planned to walk today and tomorrow anyhow in preparation for the ToT 13K, but that's a nice plus! :) I'm really getting bored with the treadmill, so I hope we have a mild winter...
Also, my leg muscle that was bothering me the other day seems to be better now.
It just occurred to me that I have been doing the NBI 2.0 for a month now. I guess I better take some measurements tomorrow morning to see how I've done. Regardless, though, I am very proud of myself. I've really made some significant changes in my eating habits and in exercising. There's always room for improvement, of course, but I have come a long way.
