Aaaaah BOOKS! Way too many. Well, god, this is hard. I only really like books that are really long or in series usually because that's the only way a plot can continuosly develop for ages.
But,
Here ya go,
1) Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption-Stephen King. (4 novellas. An Absolute MUST)
2) Small Gods - Terry Pratchet (you probably won't get the humour, but it's just fantastic too a ridiculous extreme)
3) You know, i can't go without mentioning a series here, and it will have to be, The Warlord Chronicles - Bernard Cornwell. (Niamh has them at the minute, but you can have the 1st and get the rest off her)

Woot! A party! Can I come? :) Lol, I was never aloud to have birthday parties so my birthday sort of always passed by unnoticed. (My last birthday really sucked because I had no one that lived around me who even knew I exsisted)...

Hmmm...books. I really can't think of any that I would recommend. The last books I read were romances with all that adulty stuff and they weren't that great at all. Sorry! :(
