Ropes were one of the most devious inventions man had ever come up with, especially in this use. Eight shifted, looking up and around, licking his lips almost nervously. When was Seto coming back? He had to come back soon, right? Eight made a disgruntled noise in the back of his throat, shaking his head.

"Damnit, Seto..."

Seto slipped into the room on dead-silent feet, making no sound whatsoever. A fanged smirk slid across his face as he saw Eight, heard Eight, the thrumming noise of blood rushing through his veins, the thudding of Eight's heart a tantilising siren's call to his hungry body.

He stopped in the middle of the room, instinct warring with logic as he tried to suppress the new insticts, tried to decide what to do to Eight, tied up an... tried to supress the instincts.

"...Seto?" Eight asked, narrowing his eyes at Seto. Something was off. Something was really off, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Why was Seto hesitating? "What the hell is wrong?" And why wasn't he being untied? The thief scowled, shifting. Was he just being an ass?

"Nothing," said Seto automatically, squaring his shoulders slightly, Eight's voice pushing him back to himself. Walking around the bed - carefully staying away from Eight - he reached the curtains and drew them closed. As soon as the light stopped touching his skin, he shivered slightly, the irritant lifting from his shoulders.

Still not looking at Eight, he slipped his trenchcoat off and walked over to the wardrobe, ramrod stiff.

"'Nothing' my ass," Eight snapped back, sitting up as much as he could, following Seto with his eyes, jaw clenching. "Seto, what's wrong?" He was practically being ignored! This was a crime, damnit, especially when he couldn't get up and do something to ease the tension out of Seto's body language and movements...
