Though it's far more subtle than being chained.

[That's a warning, since he's not just going to outright tell people he's noticed difficulties telling anything but the truth. Though he can't help letting the occasional hint slip.]

[An hour later, and Protoman had finished waiting for Bass to respond. Either Bass was purposefully ignoring him - which was possible, considering how their last meeting ended - or there was something wrong]

[The room is dark and Bass is sitting with his back to the corner, facing the door. He looks up when Protoman comes in, then puts his head back down, tugging up the neck of his shirt to hide his throat.

He's missing an arm.]

[The second the dark hit him, Protoman's nightvision goes on. He hates doing it, since it sucks power and hurts his eyes, but it allows him to notice the missing arm almost as fast as he notices the lack of yelling.]
