Oh, and a poll:

Is Aidan more dominant or submissive?

He seems to be a bit of both. With Guera, he was more submissive, but with Charlie/Fletcher, he was more dominant.

What do you think Aidan is? And then should I get a puppy that seems to show more dominant or submissive traits?

get a more submissive dog, because it will be easier for aidan to adjust. i havent interacted with him in awhile but i think he used to have some anxiety, and a submissive dog would be better for him if that is still the case. also, submissive dogs play better with other dogs (they are the most versatile), as a general rule.

i was thinking about it today and i agree that a submissive dog would be better. i think he was more comfortable when he was the dominant one and this house is already his territory and everything.

aw. i'm just laughing at the idea of you having two submissive dogs around. something about that sounds completely emo and self-loathing.
