I totally went to a book fair at work last year.

Of course, I work at an elementary school. I did learn one valuable lesson: book fairs are SO MUCH MORE FUN when you have disposable income. Or at least when you have the ability to pretend to have disposable income. I'm looking forward to this year :)

YAY WORK EMPTY BOWLS.

I am worried because the HC listserv went away, and that's where I got ALL my volunteers. And the teachers are all like, "Oh you are wonderful solely because you got a million volunteers for Empty Bowls, never mind how you spend the rest of the year yay." So WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T GET VOLUNTEERS? I die.
