Well. Recently there have only been a few birds visiting my feeder. The two Towhees show up once or twice a day, and I've had a few sparrows who show up around dinner time. ive never known any rats to have tails that long. unless its a new york city rat. which i doubt.
too small to be an oppossum or some other marsupial-like critter?

I'm looking at it from a distance in the dark, so it may have been shorter :). But from the silhouette it seemed quite long.

I'll see if I can get pictures next time.

Squirrels love bird feeders!

We have one that feeds on our feeder. We call him Squichy!(that's skwIgy) He is so cute though our cat has killed many generations of squichy!

The only problem is that he'll eat all of your bird seed and it can kind of get expensive! Boo-urns to that! but they can get really friendly! Then you catch them and make soup out of them. Mmmmmm, squirrel soup, sooo good!

Anyways, as i was saying! Catch as many as you can and put them into soup.

The End.
