Stockholm: arrival (Thursday)
We landed about 15 minutes late, at 7:45 AM local time. I arrived at Arlanda airport, and found somewhat to my relief that most of the signs were in English as well as Swedish. Stockholm: getting there (Wednesday)
Jon dropped me off at the airport around nine, and I got checked in at United and through security with only minimal waits. I tried to find a store that sold power converters (Sweden's on a 200V standard), and after the third try found one at Brookstone for 25 bucks. I feel a little silly posting this after the day everyone else seems to be having
So, my laptop, the one given to me by the school, at this point has a cracked casing, malfunctioning USB ports, a missing left arrow key, flaws in the screen, and crashes every time it is bumped or not plugged in. I stand on the deck of what appears to be an old fashioned sailing ship, though I know there is more technology than was immediately apparent. I an a pirate, and a skilled one at that.
