you know, caterpillars get to do this by wrapping themselves in silk and going to sleep for a while.

i seriously think i need to be medicated, or i'm not going to make it through the winter.

we lost saturday by two points and are not going to play-offs. it was a really good game though, and possibly lost just on a technicality. i did go out with the team and i had an awesome time. we went to the bar and then karaoke and i had fun even though i didn't drink. i like my team a lot. i can't wait to start getting trained to hook.

my grandmother is doing really well physically but is not at all lucid. i guess by the time my parents left the hospital she could not correctly identify where she lived ("the library!"), who my mother was ("mary brigham young"?), or who she was ("a little girl lost in the woods"). my mom is very upset. the nurses said it's normal but my family is ( Read more... )

it's raining again. i feel like it's rained most of the summer. it is still going to be raining when i get on the rugby field at 8 tomorrow, and when our game starts at 11. it's the biggest game of the season, manda wants to come watch and odds are really good i won't play 1 minute. but i will be there, in the rain. which is fine, it's a big game ( Read more... )

yesterday beckx! and i spent the afternoon looking at stray dogs in kennels and then i took tonka to the park where she ran in happy circles until she collided with an automatic sprinkler that didn't retract. she yelped and then sat at my feet and cried and it was the saddest thing ever. she is okay now though.
