I'm still amazed by the Library. Navigating is half the fun. It's easy to lose track of time, while there. Supposedly the one in the elven kingdom was very grand, but I'm not sure that it compares. The research opportunities are endless. I hope people take advantage of it.

I had a question for the city, however. I was curious as to how many people ( Read more... )

curious, no reaction to quinn's dates, searching, library, researching curses

I am a witch, personally. And I feel that this inquiry is probably going to be followed by a request of some sort?

Mostly for curiosities sake. I'm interested in the differences between what exists in my world and the places outside of it.

A witch? I'm assuming that is the female equivalent of a wizard, then. The terms are different where I come from. People outside of Taringal simply use the term 'magician' as a general substitute.

Curiosity is something I'm more familiar with, then. You might find it difficult--I'd say impossible, only that feels as though it's just asking for trouble--to document very many types of magic and explore them fully.

But yes, the female equivalent of a wizard. Generally, it isn't common to refer to us as magicians, where I'm from. That's more a term used more by Muggles non-magic users, so some members of the magic community actively refrain from similarly using it.

You practice magic in your world, then?

There's never such a thing as too much knowledge. I'd like to, if possible, take what I learn here and apply it to things outside of the city. I've heard it's generally impossible, but that won't stop my attempts.

I do practice magic. But ever since that time... I don't often use it.

Why do you ask about magicians?

I'm a magician myself. I'm interested in getting to know and communicating with others that might have similarities and differences.

I'm sure there are many differences between magicians of different worlds. Even in my own world there are strong variations.

Maybe a difference in power levels in my own, but I think the methods and techniques here would be different.

I take it that the beautiful lady is quite familiar with magic herself?

And what a beautiful witch.

You sound very enthusiastic about it. Is magic then a very common thing in your world?

Kinda, yeah! There's different kinds, though~.

Magic is not drawn from the same core? Or do you mean that some individuals are just more well versed in various aspects of it than others?
