Ask it? Do you think it would actually reply? How does one do that?

Well...

It had to come from Grimmauld Place, right? I mean, that's the last place you saw the ring. So someone had to get it from there. Perhaps that's a place to start looking.

Also, who would know about the ring? About it's significance, and why it would be important to you? I mean, it has to be someone who knew that Sirius was innocent, and that the two of you were in contact. It has to be someone that would understand what the ring even was, and why it would trigger you immediately. I think we need to look into Sirius's past, to the people he's been in contact with and those who were important to him.

I'm ready to help whenever you are ready to start looking.

Such a clever girl!

I'm ready whenever, but I'm not sure where to start.

Maybe we could start by looking at the origins of the ring and such. '

Think Prof. Lupin would give us a note for the Restricted Section?

I've already got one. I've been doing some research for the DL, and it's been very handy.

Well, my nominations for possible canidates who might have sent it would be Bellatrix LeStrange or Lucius Malfoy. Both have connections with the Black family and would have the best chance of getting the ring. Plus they're the only two of the Black family who might do something of the sort and try to play with your head.

Okay, that sounds like a pretty sound deduction.
