It's not a matter of luck, Harry, but perseverance and hard work. I'll be happy to help you as always, but in the end, how well you do depends on how much work you put into it.

Oh, I know. And I plan on putting in a lot of work. I've never wanted to do anything like I want to do that.

Have you picked your classes yet? Don't tell me you're taking half a dozen or more, right?

I'm so glad you'll be home soon. I miss you.

It looks like we'll be taking all the same classes. Big surprise there. ;) I've been working on extra work with the professors all summer, so hopefully Snape won't be able to fail me right at the beginning.

I'd love to say that I'll be a perfect lady when I see you, but I can't promise anything. More likely than not, I'll drag you off somewhere private the second you step in the door.

I'm more than willing to be dragged. And I'm glad you'll be in my classes - they're going to be awful, I'm sure, but hopefully worth it.

I had nothing to do but study, so I did, and I actually think I might not fail. At least, not during my first term.
