Ryan, I am so unbelievably proud of you. What an amazingly huge step, and from what I have been told by people in similar situations is that at first there is a huge blowup and then with time, things quietly return to normal. Right now I am sure it seems like you are in the center of the storm, but sun will follow. Regardless of everything that has happened these past few weeks (which I still don't really understand...), you should know that I only hope for the very best for you and I truly believe that this painful step will take you one notch closer to being your beautiful, sunny self for EVERYONE to enjoy, even your family. I wish I were home to be there with you. My only advice is to surround yourself with POSITIVE, SUPPORTIVE people right now. You have loads of them surrounding you, just waiting to be a shoulder to cry on.
