It's the same difficulty a deconstructionist has... everyone still needs something to stand on... is it really possible to expect nothing? I expect deconstructionism to deliver deliverance to me but that is in itself an expectation... i might be disappointed...

Having expectations is a good thing. I think it's a sad decision not to look forward to anything; you're denying yourself a lot of life lessons. Besides, the act of anticipation means you hold a stand in a situation, instead of insisting on being neutral due to fear of disappointment.

We're only human. The best we can do for ourselves is moderate our expectations, I guess.

yeah, but most of the times, my expectations spiral into perfection and that often results in immense disappointments, which in turn weighs me down and discourages, placing me in a deep, depressed mood.
