It has snowed twice before in Vatheon -- last July, and during December. This third occurrence is the first not to accompany Christmas celebrations.

[Motochika makes a soft, amused noise. Affection colours his tone.]

Perhaps with a promise of hot chocolate afterward.

It is a little strange to have snow so early in the year...though maybe it would feel weird even in the winter underwater.

Compared to our usual lack, by definition any weather is out of the ordinary. Yet snow is also familiar to most of us.

There has been much stranger weather in the past. It once rained toy ducks for a week.

Toy ducks. I suppose that would be a little more difficult to deal with than snow.

It is nice to have some snow again, I'll admit. It makes it feel a little bit more like home.
