lost in visions of her

Ohh, how to start this entry. I’ve been having a difficult time with some hardship I’ve been suffering. Now I’m a little desperate to find tasks to engage my thoughts in those other than sadness. I’ve started a couple of projects, and I’m making a great effort to overcome my procrastination with everything.

Happy, Happy Belated Birthday to the ( Read more... )

Hayden is incredibly gorgeous and extremely dedicated to her work. I love how she pursues her passion for activism as well as having a lovely personality. I really admire her for that, and if I ever meet her one day I'll give her a HUGE hug and tell her just as amazing and inspiring she is.

Yes, I gush like a fangirl over her too. She is love. ♥

I love that we can now mutually gush! For the longest time, before this season of Heroes, I would see her pretty face in icons and think, "Who is that?" When I discovered and saw her acting, I was lost to her beauty. Her activism inspires me greatly. It's wonderful to care so much about things. I try to do the same in my life.

I really admire her for that, and if I ever meet her one day I'll give her a HUGE hug and tell her just as amazing and inspiring she is.

Me too! Although, I wonder if someone would have to pull me away to stop the hug from lasting too long. For all that she does, she deserves hugs of the best kind.

I love Hayden. But I've been a fan since her soap days, on Guiding Light. OMG was she good on there. She was just a kid but her character went through so much when she played her and she did a wonderful job at it.

I may just have to take a few of those bases too.

I love your Hayden icon! It oozes pure joy.

I think I have an idea of just how amazing she was in childhood. My friend gave me the movie Joe Somebody a couple of months ago, and in it Hayden's nine or ten. Her acting was the only thing about the movie that moved me, but oh, did it ever. At such a young age, she embodied such complex emotions, the likes of which many adult actors have yet to achieve.

I'm sorry, once the Hayden!gush begins, there is just no stopping me... :P

It's ok. I totally agree. I think the fact that she started out on soaps helps. I mean they have to memorize at least 5 scripts in less time than a normal tv actor does. It's hard enough learning one script a week let alone five. I've always had a great respect for soap actors. It makes me sad that the industry tends too look down on them when they have it harder. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have started on soaps. Sarah Michelle Gellar started on All My Children. Even Meg Ryan started on a soap.

I've always thought she was so talented, all the way back when she was on Guiding Light years and years ago, playing Lizzie. It's a little awkward for me, having seen her as a little girl then, and now she's all grown up and pretty, but it's undeniable how lovely she is. Her character on Heroes is one of my favorite ones.

I guess the female celebrity that I connect with as strongly as you do with her, is Katherine Heigl. I simply adore Katherine. I think she's tremendously talented, very beautiful and classy-looking. And I have this doe-eyed fantasy where she's also this awesome person, which I really hope is true. I just, I can't even find the words. I've had a crush on her for SO many years now, it's not even funny. *laughs*

I'm keeping you in my thoughts!

It's awkward for me, as well, for the actors I've watched since their childhood. It's sometimes hard to accept that they're growing up, that they've gone from cute to sexy in what seems such short years. But you're right, it is undeniable. I've heard so much about her work on Guiding Light... I wonder if there'd be any way to get ahold of some of the old episodes.

Oh, I love Katherine! Ever since Roswell, I've felt so connected to her. She's an incredible actress, and I really do think your fantasy may be true. I remember watching some entertainment show a while back, and while the papparazzi was following her, Katherine was smiling kindly and asking the photographers if they had good holidays. What a sweetie.

I'm keeping you in my thoughts, too, sweetness. ♥
