Someone I know is doing a toiletries collection for bushfire victims. If you want a nice easy way to give (ie, a spare pack of wet wipes, toothpaste, sunscreen, whatever) feel free to hand things to me in the next few days.

Don't forget feminine sanitary products, moisturiser, lip balm and zovirax.
Most of these people have been dehydrated and need to 'feel a bit better'. The zovirax is because cold-sores often appear during stressed-out times.

Basically, we're telling the teens at school* to imagine items they would need if they were to live away from home for a week or two.

* It is strange. Of our 3 campuses, 2 are in 'no-go-zones', shut by the Department ... the other campus is 20km away and the kids there want to help as much as they can.

The latest call-out now is for suits.
The sad, sad truth of it is that these people that have lost everything want to look 'nice' for funerals of their beloved family and friends.
