Fun with maps

Has anyone seen this game before? It's a drag-and-drop state placement game, to see how well you can guesstimate where a state belongs on an unmarked map of the U.S. Some states, of course, are easy, and the order that you get them in can determine some of your early errors, depending on what kinds of markers you get early in the game ( Read more... )

Someone linked to that game in the GGMM once upon a time (a couple years ago probably) and other similar ones and I played a bunch. They're fun. I go and play that game every once in a while just for fun.

I've found that scripted's exactly right--if you get the middle states first it's MUCH more difficult. Anything on the coast is pretty much a gimme as long as you know approximately where to start looking, so when you get a few coastal states to start and then the central ones start to come it's really easy to do well.

For what it's worth, I remember the computer games you kids had, even though Mom says she doesn't.
