a. I don't know why I'm listening to DC Talk. I honestly don't. the last time I heard these songs was sixth grade when I had to do some weird project for religion class in which we found a secular song and a gospel reading to share with the class, and we had to distribute some sort of "keepsake". for some reason I thought it would be fun to use ( Read more... )

The blurriness and nausea are symptoms of the concussion and may last for 7-10 days but one website said it could last even longer. If what you are doing makes you feel worse, then you need to stop doing it. Resting is the only thing that will help, you don't need to buck up and deal with it. You aren't coddling yourself, you are trying to get better. All of which must be tremendously frustrating.

yeah, they told me at the ER that this stuff could last up to two weeks. it's officially been ten days, so hopefully things will start to get better soon. for some reason awful insomnia has apparently become part of this awkward concussion cornucopia of compliations.

thanks for the comment though. it's kind of reassuring to hear someone else tell me I'm not just a huge sissy and acknowledge the fact that it might suck to lay in bed all day for lots of consecutive days. for some reason that honestly kind of cheered me up a bit.

I have a good feeling about tomorrow. if I can ever get to sleep, that is.
