i  got my beautiful beautiful cobalt blue glass hooks yesterday, but they're 00g and i'm still only at 0. I'm having a lot of trouble stretching to 00. hm. and one of my ears got angry with me so i had to take out one of my 0g bamboo plugs and put the 2g one back in and it's boring and metal and bullshit and i hate downsizing

Go get PTFE (teflon) plumbing tape from Home Depot. One roll will run you about 99 cents, and cheap is always good. Wrap it around the plugs slowly and use that to go between sizes now. At a size like yours, tugging on it/waiting for it to stretch over time/using a taper isn't enough. And make sure to use plenty of vitamin E oil.

ah, good advice. i've heard of that method but hadn't thought to do it. i'll try that out. and yeah, i'm using lots of vitamin E oil. thanks! hopefully i'll be able to get to 00 without much trouble.
