Misono often wandered the city while on her lunch break. Given the power outage in her area she wasn't really planning on going back to the shop. Instead she had changed out of her leather dress and bondage cuffs and into a kimono. Time to make some money!
Only with the kind of drizzly weather and the approaching holidays things weren't going so well. But there was a guy with sunglasses on and he might have been a tourist! Somebody who might want a little bit of extra luck as he made his way around. "Hey mister! You want to get lucky?" she called across the street.
This guy was completely Japanese! "Nice to meet you, mister!" Misono chirped in Japanese. This would be good! She pressed her hands together in excitement. Which dimmed when he said he didn't want any luck and then vanished into confusion. "Eh?" she blinked up at him. "It's not against the law! Well." She blew out a breath that ruffled her bangs. "It is but I didn't know at first but now I have a permit so it's completely okay!" To prove it, she opened the drawstring on her kinchaku and pulled out her permit, holding it up. "Totally legal!" Maybe that was all that was holding him back? She edged closer in a cute, mincing step. "Sure you don't want to get lucky

Luckily he ended up with a perfectly sane person. There had been occasions where he almost last his eyes to a can of mace and if it wasn't for some quick thinking on his part then that probably would have been the outcome. Honestly he was pretty small for a guy. At least compared to a lot of these Americans. He could probably use a can of that stuff too. They seemed effective enough in the movies after all. "It's nice to meet you too

He was a happy guy, this one. And when he took her hands, she knew what he was. Night magic, sleep magic, dream magic. "I'm a zashiki-warashi all right," she said happily even as he dropped her hands and reached for his wallet

Oh. She was too cute. "You want me to take you on a date then?" he laughed a bit. Him? Dating? Well it was a mock date, but still. Before he could really answer he was dragged off towards the little shop. Not like he minded. He was probably saving money anyways. "You keep calling me brother. It's cute~" he cooed at her. "Read English? The basics. I can speak it well. Not so much read it. You'll help me if I need it, right~?"
"I'm Tegoshi. Tegoshi Yuya. Though, if you just want to call me Yuya that's fine. I need to get use to using first names anyways." A roar of thunder broke through the busy streets and with that he ushered her in. "I don't think I've ever had milk tea actually." He wasn't even aware that there were tapioca pearls in it.
Date? Misono considered it as she towed him to where she wanted to go. Misono had never been on a date before. Not of her own. She gave him an appraising look. "Yeah!" she decided. "You can be taking me on a date! For tea

So it was a date! Not that he really knew what to do on a date. Yeah, he'd been on them... but that was such a long time ago. And in all honesty he wasn't looking. "What, My first name? Yeah. It is" he grinned. "How is your name spelt actually? Isn't it like... 'spring' or something?" Well at least they were inside now. They wouldn't have to worry about the pitiful weather outside.
As soon as their hands were linked he started to lightly sway them and now she was ordering for him. How cute~ He turned towards her "Ah, that doesn't have anything solid in it right? My digestion isn't all up to par... if you know what I mean." That last part he managed to keep in between them. He just grinned more as he was introduced to the clerk, paying the woman as the teas were set in front of them. "That's right~ You're so adorable, Honey!" This might actually prove to be amusing. Especially playing it up like this.
"I like your name!" she told him, relaxing with the sway and swing of their hands. "My name is written 'beautiful' and 'garden'." She lifted her free hand and used her pinky to sketch both 'bi' and 'en'. "It's a little bit of a common name," she said with a shrug "but it fits for me
