Can never stand to read a book again. I think it's because it feels like a chore. Which is a shame. I enjoy books and find them a chore to read at the same time.
OH IT COMES INTO MORE SIGNIFICANCE. Cos the slave people in Terahnee (Relyimah), work as an allegory for the pride in D'ni, and the girl in it, Marrim, is the new star of Myst Book Number 4! And she's married to the prince of Terahnee, Eedrah. And like, it turns out that the D'ni people actually used to have slaves, the Bahro, who were this non-human race who actually developed the skill of linking, and that the D'ni stole it off them and then banished them due to pride, because the Bahro can link without books at any time, and the D'ni were like, NAH I DON'T LIKE YOU BEING BETTER WE ARE GONNA IMPRISON YOU AND STEAL YOUR IDEAS. SO yeah! THE NEW GAME IS ALL ABOUT THE BAHRO AND HOW YEESHA IS UNCOVERING THEIR PAST, SOOOOO GOOD.
