logic problem
this is from my mom's nursing magazine. i spent over an hour figuring it out. something to do if you're bored or feel like procrastinating.
here it goes.
intro:
Vanessa and four other ob nurses celebrated new years day by helping deliver the first five infants born in 2006, one of whom was named Evonne. From the clues here and to the right, can you determine the infants' full names (one surname is thompson) the full names of their mothers (one is angela), the names of their fathers (one is henry), the names of the nurses who assisted each couple, and the order in which the babies were born?
clues:
1. four of the mothers are Vera, Mrs. Yielding, Jason's wife, and stephanie's patient.
2. Audrey was born minutes after Hannah's son and just before the Driscoll infant
3. Gloria's patient had a 6 lb boy just after Philip's wife had a girl and just before Candace had a boy.
4. Everett's patient was neither the first nor the last to give birth
5. Mitchell's wife had her baby just after Marcus was born and just before Mrs. Logan had her daughter
6. Kim's patient delivered her 7.5 lb son Kyle some time after the first girl was born.
7. Conrad Mills weighed the most at 8 lbs, 6 oz.
8. Gary and Wanda's daughter weighed the least at 5 lbs
9. The Yielding girl weighed 7 lbs, 3 oz.
