Yes. I ran my dishwasher 3 times today. I have to first be thankful to the soul who created the dishwasher in the first place. Second I need to be thankful to Fidgidaire for making one that works so well. (Sidebar/Odd quirk about me: I asked for a dishwasher for my 5th birthday. True story.) So my whole afternoon "off" was shot. DH asked me to pretty please deliver him 500 brick to his jobsite. OK, sure. I figure it will take me about an hour or so. I bought another pattern for a sun dress at Wally World this weekend. It is this one. From Simplicity. The pattern only cost $2.50 so I couldn't pass it up. It will go in my stash until I find the perfect fabric to make it.

A new apron in the works

I am making myself another apron so I have one to wear and one to wash. (Ultimately I'd like to have one for each weekday and every major holiday that I plan to do the entertaining for.) I will be using view B on the Kwik Sew pattern I used for the last apron.

Today MIL and I went to Babies R Us because I had a $5 off coupon and so did she. We get there and the 106 count box is $38. Holy Crap I know I just paid 20-something at King Soopers. So since MIL works at KS I just happen to have the number in my cell. I call. They price the same size, brand, style box at $26. So even with the little coupon ( Read more... )
