A new apron in the works

I am making myself another apron so I have one to wear and one to wash.  (Ultimately I'd like to have one for each weekday and every major holiday that I plan to do the entertaining for.)  I will be using view B on the Kwik Sew pattern I used for the last apron.

I LOVE that fabric! It would make a gorgeous sundress for Jilly. If only I knew how to sew :p lol!

I just started the sewing thing. My best advise if you want to make something is to embrace that it doesn't have to be perfect and that a seam ripper helps pull out what you have oopsed on. I bet you could find a great pattern that would make a gorgeous outfit for Jilly. Start with a simple pattern like a skirt. They tell you step by step how to make the item. Plus most fabric stores have patterns on sale frequently. Joann's just had McCalls & Butterick patterns on sale for $1.99 each. If you want advise I would be more than happy to help where I can and direct you to help when I don't know the answer.

I love that fabric. Of course I am a sucker for anything with a little purple but I can't wait to see it finished!
