This morning DaddyBear locked him away in his room so I could get some rest, and then got up earlier than his usual to get them ( Read more... )

Loved reading your account of your Sunday. Sounded perfect, indeed.
Inspired by you I posted in my LJ about OUR Sunday. And oh, isn't it wonderful that fresh halibut is now available again???? It is just about our favorite fish, and it's so much better fresh rather than frozen. We love both it and salmon when it's fresh. We like having the choice of several kinds of salmon here right in the grocery store too. Sandy had a rare weekend off and we have enjoyed every minute of it with our visiting friends Gregg and Chip and our daughter Julie.
Our best to you and Seth!

yes, we love being able to get fresh salmon and halibut. It was Seth who said - hey we haven't had fish in a while and man that was the best halibut ever.

What a great day! And the food sounds fantastic.

We made portabella pizzas the other evening - except we used the actual portabella cap for the "crust". A spoonful of marinara, some diced italian chicken sausage, mozz and parmesan and some fresh basil. Pretty darned tasty.

Enjoy the beautiful weather!

yummers!! I'll have to try that. I also make a greek pita pizza with a mint pesto but I substitute baked tofu for the lamb. It's one of Seth's favs.

What a sweet day with your darlin. :)

Me and Meesha haven't been eating meat for a few months now and I have run out of veggie recipes!

Love you both and miss you terrible.

go to oprah.com for great recipes. even the meat ones I often just substitute tofu, or meatless sausage or whatever for the meat. I also get some good recipes from marthastewart.com, but hers can be a bit persnickety.
