yeah, i love the Beatles (way too much time spent listening to my dad's LPs as a kid). To be honest I think I like help! better than a hard days night, however both movies are excellent and have the best music ever. On another note there is an instrumental version to 'And I love her' only available on the record and not available on tape or CD which is pure magic and is the sole reason I took my grandmothers old record player (although much to my dismay I need to get a felt thing to boost the height of modern records as this player was designed with the old records... 33.5s i think? in mind).

Screen on the Green Rocks! I loved Sound of Music. That and the cold sodden version of The Wizard of Oz. Fabulous entertainment :)

Do you happen to know how I might be able to get my hands on musicals that are in Japanese? (Either ones naturally so or ones that have been translated such as Sweeney, Rent, etc..)

I'd like to hear musicals written for Japanese audiences because it would be interesting (I have Elisabeth and one or two of the Sera-Myu "musicals"), and I think that it would be beneficial to hear songs from musicals that I'm familiar with because it will give me a better grasp on the syntax of the language and language, which I'm trying to do since, as you know, I'm about to ship off to Japan.

I don't know if you would know anything or not, but you're the only person that I could think of to ask!
