Hey hon,

It's taken me a few years to figure out what the heck I'm doing, and even so at best it's a short-time venture. To keep myself from rambling too much at length about that, though - here's something you might want to try.

What you're looking into is a facet of science. What is it about science that's new and relevant that makes it something important and relevant to you? Go out and find all the latest science magazines. Take a look at the articles about the latest research, read a few. See what other people are doing. See if there's any part of it that makes you say, "Oh, now that's cool," or anything that perks up your interest. Take note of what fields they're in. Go out and wander around a science museum for a bit, looking at exhibits. (Especially childrens' museums ( ... )

In the opinion of a self-proclaimed great procrastinator, I've never believed a strong drive in a particular area was needed for anything. I just generally wait until the last possible moment that there is still enough time to complete what is needed, and the fact that I cannot push it back any further is usually the only "drive" I go on. :p That, and the insanity to continually think of or agree to do new work all the time means I usually end up in a constant state of that being the case (things always seem like a great idea until it comes time to do the work - funny how that works out :p). Relaying simply on a simple desire to not fail in any endeaver has worked well thus far to mask the fact that I am, be default, lazy.

Anyway, I don't know things well enough to really comment that much - so I'm mostly just posting to say "check your mail". Cya!
