No I don't think he's from the ACS. They actually sent me a very civil e-mail. Then again my e-mail to the ACS was very polite, I pointed out that they violated noise regulations from 2 am to 5 am and I had to call the police and requested that in the future they make rules for their event so that they did not disturb area residents. They sent me back an e-mail saying they got mine and had notified the proper people about the problem

It was a comic that said 'Oh no! The stupid people are breeding!' Then there was a series of colored rings on hands as they called out properties of natural selection. Then 'By your powers combined I am Charles Darwin!' Finally Mr. Darwin got rid of the stupid people with his 'Chainsaw of Natural Selection' :D
but then again, that's the way of stupids and public forums. you should get one of your friends to troll the board, and turn the conversation to the ridiculous. have them anonymously post "cancer patients deserve to die, anyway" or something nice and terrible. that'll take the fire off you.
from certain oncologists i've spoken to, i've the impression that cancer research has gotten bogged down. not that donating for cancer research is bad, but there are tons of things to donate for, that are far more effective... i suppose my ethics are a bit questionable.
The American Cancer Society is kind of a sacred institution across a range of Athens society. I imagine someone actually working with the organization will be more sympathetic to your complaints than people who get riled up about Red and Black articles.
