yikes. i'm sorry, bex, that sucks. people are kind of crazy.. maybe they should get plants to talk to, so at least their whining is somewhat constructive? or they should volunteer somewhere and hopefully find some meaning in their lives.

or you could tell them you're moving to a small village in the himalayas without cell phone service :)

but if nothing else, be very, very happy that you're nothing like them. and remember that people do have some say in their own happiness-- some just don't try to make situations better because they don't feel complete unless they're miserable about something.
